Debi was born November 21, 1955 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to Albert and Ramona (Hiles) Davidson. She grew up in Adams, graduating from Adams-Friendship High School in 1974. Debi attended Mid-State Vocational School in Wisconsin Rapids and received an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. Debi moved to Milwaukee where she worked as an Early Childhood Teacher as well as a waitress for 25 years at Red Lobster. Locally, Debi worked for the After School Program for the Adams-Friendship School District, and Sunderlage Acupuncture, and provided cleaning services to many local homes.
Debi married Albert Wehby in September 1990. They lived in Milwaukee, Baltimore, and Orlando, Florida before moving back to Friendship in 1996 – where they purchased and resided in her grandparent’s home. Debi was happy to move back to the community where she grew up and loved. They were avid moviegoers, enjoyed going out to eat, and socializing with friends and family. Debi lost Al suddenly in 2003 due to a massive heart attack.
Debi enjoyed gardening, in the course of her life she enjoyed traveling: she made trips to Europe, Canada, Hawaii, and many other locations. Debi and her dear friends, Donna, June, and Janet; enjoyed monthly movie nights, movies in the Dells, and eating at Uno’s.
Debi was a free spirit and often said, “Enjoy life, it is not a dress rehearsal.”
Debi loved her family very much, she looked forward to family get-togethers with family and friends.
Debi took pleasure in hosting her Book Club and being a member. She was a member at Adams Trinity Lutheran Church and Adams Community Theater. Debi was very kind and loved by many people – and went out of her way to help others.
Debi was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ramona Davidson; and husband, Albert.

I am so sorry for your loss. Debbie was always a kind person when I was going up. I remember her selling tickets at the theater. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you
Our deepest sympathy to all of Debbie’s family & friends. Praying for your comfort!
I’m so sorry for the loss of Debi. I have many memories of growing up, in church and the theatre. She truly was an angel amonst us!
Debi was a joy to know, and a light in our lives. She believed in the powerful healing that our bodies could give us and introduced us to products that helped our bodies work better. We are grateful for the passion that she brought to that mission. She had a kind, soft spirit and looked for the good in others. Her life was enriched by Lauren, his daughter….and the little one she called “her granddaughter.” She often spoke of the fun and adventures they brought her. She cherished her siblings and often spoke of them with such love. I treasure the cards and notes she sent me. I am comforted she is in the arms of our Lord. We hope her family feels that same comfort.
An angel on earth is gone – Prayers and condolences to family and friends.
I am so very sorry for
your loss, my husband and I lived next to her for 13 years she was always their to help anyone, she sure earned her wings in this life , she will be missed by so many, R.I.P Deb
Our Pereiro family was close to Debi in so many ways. She & I shared our Nov. birthdays and Sept. wedding anniversaries. Debi always signed letters & cards with a tiny heart over the i in her name. Everyone & everything she touched was more lovely by her presence…her family, friends, students, home, Christmas & seasonal decorations & especially the flower gardens in her yard. Oh, how we miss this dear, friendly lady from Friendship, WI!
We were privileged to have Debi work for us for many years. More than an employee, Debi was our friend. She was always positive and kind. Always willing to help. We kidded her that she knew everyone in the area or had a connection to them. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly. Debi knew Jesus, so we look forward to seeing her again in heaven. God’s comfort and peace to her family and loved ones. Life won’t be the same without her.
Debi was always such a sparkling spirit in the many days that I had the great fortune to spend with her. She always followed her own drummer. She lived life with love and hope and optimism. I am thankful for all my many memories of her…yes there was a lost lake Debi. We had many good laughs there. So blessed to have seen your radiant smile last August. God’s definitely called an angei home. You’ll never be forgotten.
Always enjoyed our visits at the greenhouse. Sweet angel rest in peace. Prayers to you Lauren & her family.

Debi was a sweetheart; our sympathy to her family at this sad time.
When I was young my Mother often searched for “lady slippers” in the woods. They were this little flower that was fragile, beautiful and rare. I remember her telling me that they cant be replanted and must be looked at for the beauty. Debi is my lady slipper and she was all that and then some. She truly was a special edition of a truly good person.
My deepest sympathies to you Lauren and to Deb’s family. I am thankful that I was able to visit with her briefly on Wednesday. A truly kind and gentle soul who touched many lives. You will be missed.
To Lauren & all of Debbie’s Family_______My deepest sympathy for the passing of your Dear Debbie. I’ve known Debbie since we were kids. She was a beautiful person, (inside & out)always looking for the good in people. God Bless all of you during this very difficult time.
So sorry to hear of Debbi’s passing. She was always smiling and such a joy to talk to. Keep her smile and memories close to help during this time and in the future.
Sending heartfelt prayers and condolences to Deb’s family and loved ones. A heart of gold, that one. Even though she faced many challenges in life, she always somehow managed to respond with optimism. I am so SO grateful that I got to see her this last August and spend time with her. We shared a lot of laughs, reminiscing about our high school days and some of the crazy things we did. She told me that some of her fondest memories are of the sleepovers we had at my house and things that occurred late at night, like the unfortunate snowmobile incident with Gloria, as well as the mercurochrome event that happened in the bathtub, and a few others too sordid to tell. She was such a loving soul and I will not forget her. Rest in peace, beloved friend, you will be dearly missed.

Dawn, Eric, Taylor, Dillion and Megan~ I am so sorry for the loss of your sister, sister-in-law, and aunt. I remember going to church and Debbie always had a smile on her face and was so kind. Your whole family is like that. ❤️ I really did not know Debbie that well but I know some of y’all and your some of the most beautiful people I have ever been blessed to meet! 🥰 Truly, like Megan shared today. She is your Angel. 😇 We all should strive to be the beautiful person she was. I’m not sure who lived behind us years ago but I recognized Debbie and talked with the boys and said I think your Aunt visits the house behind us. I have a terrible memory but I do believe the boys said she would bring food over to our neighbor. Such kind acts of generosity. You can meet certain people and just see and know they are a gift from above. ✝️ I am so sorry it has to be at Christmas time but sometimes God calls some of his closest at those times of the year. I do believe. Cherish all your wonderful memories and sending prayers, hugs and God’s peace to y’all, other family, loved ones and friends. If we can learn anything from others…some people leave a footprint on so many that they never even realize! We should all strive to be like Debbie! An Angel here on earth and now watching over y’all in Heaven above. 😇 God bless~
Always such a sweet lady!

I’m so sorry for your loss and the loss each of us shares at Debi’s passing. She was a good friend and fun-loving companion on dinner-and-a-movie nights in the Dells, bi-weekly potluck movie sharing, and book club–not to mention the many birthday celebrations we shared with friends. Her kind heart and smiling ways will be remembered.
