Debra Maye Schlegel, age 58, of White Creek, Wisconsin died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Memorial services will be held in Janesville, Wisconsin at a later date.
Debra was born May 5, 1954 in Janesville, Wisconsin to Eugene and Evelyn (Ostrander) Jensen. She married Kerry L. Schlegel on May 10, 1972 in Freeport, IL. The couple lived in Freeport, IL then moved several times before making their home in White Creek, WI in 2002.
Debra enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Memorials, in Debra’s memory may be directed to her family.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Evelyn (Ostrander) Jensen; and her sister, Vicki Jensen.

Debbie made an impression in all of our lives at clean sweep where she worked while living in the trailor in South Beloit you were missed when you moved and you are missed now Deb we cared a lot for you .my condolences to the family I was very shocked to hear this I know gary well/god bless you all and be with you in your sorrow.
Deb at an early age you earned your angel wings with the pain and suffering you endured when you left us on oct 13 you still had your angel wings but you did not take with you your pain and sufferring. You made me a better person over the 40 plus years being together I thank you for that. Until we meet again. Rest in peace your husband forever

I offer my love & condolences to Kerry, Melissa, Chris & family (my family). I remember happier, healthier times for all when we would see each other more often than recent. I remember all of us going to bingo and having that strong family unit. I pray for strength & comfort for all knowing that she is now in a better place without suffering in some very good, deeply loved & missed company.
