Cindy and family,
So sorry to hear of Dels passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
My condolences to Cindy and all of Del’s family. I grew up in Adams, visited the Cedar Shack often and worked with Del on the class of 1982’s 25 year reunion at the Cedar Shack. We all had an interesting experience that night…a very violent storm downed trees and took out power lines. Del brought out candles and we continued our reunion by candlelight. It was a special night. It is with great sorrow that I heard of Del’s passing. Strength and peace to Cindy and Del’s family.
To the Babcock Family, So sorry to hear of Del’s passing, but thankful he’s not suffering any longer. He is in a better place now, but he sure made many of us feel great whenever you were around him, his friendly smile and the ease he could talk to people was truely a gift he had. He will be missed by many because of the way he lived, God Bless You Del! Dennis & Judy

Words can’t turely express the sadness is our hearts. Del was a man who stood by his beliefs and had no problem showing how much he cared about them. He was easy to fight for a cause with, laugh with, party with and cry with. He will be greatly missed. Although we can not be there today our thoughts and prayers are with you, his children, family and his many friends. He has been welcomed into Heavens Gates and will keep watch over us. My heart goes out to all of you, especially since we had become good friends over the years playing at the Cedar Shack around
deer hunting, weddings, and such. My fondest memory of Del was getting him to sing with us (The Gators) while we played

I had to write in honor, of Del, to say “thank you for being there”. Del stood in army camo, at my brothers funeral. He stood by the color guard, not saying a word. Just to let you know, that it meant the world to us. RIP Del..
My prayers go out to Dels family. He has made so many people have fun, laugh and be Del. He will be missed dearly. Many memories of going to the Shack either for horseshoes , snowmobiling or a wedding reception or just a drink and you always knew that Del would be their to share a joke or just some friendly gossip. God Bless.
Thoughts and prayers to entire family and friends of Del-For myself, and on behalf of my family(The Kennedys), I would like to reflect on a few memorable times. Wow-I was very young when you raced, but remember! I recall you coming in parents tavern(who knew memorable moments would be returned yrs later). I will never forget you teaching me CPR in a moments notice-I watched you at trapshoot-you were my bowling sponsor for so long-and we were great and you made it possible. You were an absolute joy and friend to anyone that ever met you. You always lent a helping hand-a good friend. Yrs later you made it possible for us to have parents 50th wedding ann party at Cedar Shack. You were never more then anything short of kind and instantly liked by everybody. I never like to say you are in a better place-you are just where the Angels need you-and im sure your Star will be shining down bright for a long time.-shine on -may there be many deer and elk in heaven!!

Remembering Del today and always. When Gary and I moved to Adams a few years ago I asked Del to help Gary go through his guns and ammo. He was so great and listened to each story Gary told about his arsonal. Each time I saw Del after that he asked me about Gary and how he was doing. He listened to me too. That’s just the kind of guy he was. He spoke to me about how proud he was of Darin and Becky and how special it was to have them close. We understood that family is a precious gift to be
