Dennis Herbert Lauer

Dennis Herbert Lauer, age 77, of Montello, Wisconsin died unexpectedly Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27th at the Main Chapel of the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, Wisconsin.

Dennis was born December 26, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Herbert and Margaret (Klein) Lauer. He graduated from Juneau High School in Milwaukee. Dennis was a veteran of the Korean War serving in U.S. Army. He married Ruth Ellen Stevens on January 12, 1954 in Raton, New Mexico. The couple made their home in Milwaukee where they raised five children. Dennis worked as an electrician until he retired in 1994 and moved to Montello, WI.

Dennis enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.

Daughter: Linda (Steve) Halfpap of Montello, Wisconsin
Grandchildren: Dillon, Nathaniel, Samantha, B.J., and Brenda
Sisters: Rose Marie Hauser
Sister: Dorothy Dadtka
Further survived by other relatives and friends.
