Deone “Bugs” Jensen, age 73, of Arkdale, Wisconsin passed away June 17, 2013 at the Wm S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Private family interment will be at the White Cemetery at a later date. Military Honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard. Visitation will be 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. on Thursday and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Deone was born April 28, 1940 in Cadott, Wisconsin to Earl and Gladys (Fourtner) Jensen.
His family relocated to Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
Following high school he enlisted in the United States Navy serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Deone loved life, he was a husband first, marrying the love of his life, Lucille M. Payne-Baggs on May 8, 1971. He enjoyed being a father and grandfather. His many interests included traveling throughout the US with his wife and children, playing poker with family and friends, hunting, dancing, camping, however his favorite interest was fishing for the “big one”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Gladys Jensen; Twin Sister, Cleone Meihofer and Grandson, Jason Baggs

Daughter: Peggy (Dave) Moddes of Kenosha, Wisconsin
Son: Terry Baggs (Special friend Debra) of Arkdale, Wisconsin
Son: Thomas (Charlene) Baggs of Arkdale, Wisconsin
Daughter: Michele (Lewis) Holmes of Hancock, Wisconsin
Son: Michael Baggs (Special friend Patti) of Kenosha, Wisconsin
ten grandchildren: Jordan, Jenny (Jeff), Jaime, Jodi (Jake), Tim (Amber), Tom, Misty (Clayton), Amber (Brian), Lewie (Crystal), and Sheldon
12 great-grandchildren: Alex, Taylor, Makaela, Colin, Ryan, Cole, Blaine, Camryn, Skylar, Jacaup, Madison, and Wyatt
Brother: Marlyn (Donna) Jensen of Rhinelander, Wisconsin
Brother: Ronald (Helen) Jensen of Kenosha, Wisconsin
Brother: Harlyn Jensen of Kenosha, Wisconsin
Sister: Cherylene (Sandy) Scheeler of Rhinelander, Wisconsin
Further survived by nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law and many great friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.

Our hearts are broken.
Deone recorded our wedding ceremony 39 years ago. We have his voice and Grandpa Darwin’s voices on cassette if at any time anyone wants to hear.

My heartfelt Condolences go out to you Lucilla and your family. I just regret that I have not been a better friend by not staying in touch with you . I will try and be a better friend and call you more often. These days I do not travel that much. But I promise to try and be a better friend from now on. I will give you a call in a few days. He sure fought a good battle, didn’t he? I’m sure Gus is up there with all the cards shuffled and just waiting for Deone to get there.
