Don MacLagan, age 77, of Arkdale, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at his home.
Don was born January 28, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois to William and Elizabeth (Abbott) MacLagan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1964-1970. During his time of service, he served in the Vietnam War. Following his service, he was owner/operator of Don MacLagan Automotive.
Don is survived by his wife Lynette, daughter Jamie (Mark) Mueller, stepson Tye Salazar, grandchildren Sydney, Mason & Dylan Mueller, siblings Betsy Bisland, Margaret Spriggs & Jim MacLagan along with many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers William, Robert & David, brothers in law Robert Bisland & Charles Spriggs.
Per Don’s request, there will be no memorial service. Raise a glass to celebrate Don’s life!

Lynette, so sorry to hear about Don’s passing. He always made his yearly call to me – Marine Corps Birthday – November 10th. I will miss hearing from him. Back in the day it was great fun with him during the get togethers with the Vietnam Veterans Chapter III. Rest in piece my dear Army buddy!

I always enjoyed our trips to Madison in order to meet Eric to pickup Quonset pizzas and beef sandwiches. Don would always stop to get 7 year old cheese as well. He was my mentor & insisted I get VA benefits. He was a very special person and has & will always be in my heart. God bless & we pray for you.
Donnie Mac was a dear friend and one of the finest people I have ever known. He was a true patriot and was so kind and generous to all. We will all miss “going to work “ with Donnie at the Sherwood bubble. Sincere condolences to Lynette, whom he so deeply loved, and his family and numerous friends.

So sorry to hear of Don’s passing. He was one of the first people to friend me when I became a transplant from Racine 17 years ago. We opened many a pull tab together and over the course of many years I know we were ahead due to many $500.00 splits. My condolences to Don’s family.
