Donald B. Boser, age 65, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Monday, October 1, 2018, at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Roseberry’s Funeral Home, 512 Main St., Friendship. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Donald was born August 15, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Quintin and Jeannette (Bath) Boser. He worked for Snap-On Tools in Milwaukee and Necedah Screw Machine prior to his retirement. Donald was also a volunteer firefighter for the Quincy Fire Department for 20 years.
He was a handyman and enjoyed fixing things. Donald also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Quintin & Jeannette Boser; brothers, Michael (Susan) Boser; Allen Boser, and brother-in-law, Robert Waite.

So sorry to hear of Don passing away. I didnt know or i would have been at the wake. I miss Don and Margret the good days. Don will be greatly missed. Chris.Brad . Remember all the good times.there were many. Hes up in heaven with the good lord . The lord will take good care of him.

Don was a kind and gentle soul. It was always fun camping and sharing our Inda family holiday gatherings with him. He suffered a long time, now is his time to rest peacefully. Camping was his happy place. Set up camp Don and enjoy all that angels and the heavens have to offer!

Sorry to hear of Don’s passing. Whenever we would see him after he left the fire department he would always stop and chat to catch up. Our condolences are sent your way. RIP Don!
We all were so blessed to have known you Don, just sad that your time here was cut so short. We will meet again in that big hunting / fishing grounds in heaven , until then scope out some good places to have a beer . God Bless

While our hearts are broken, we’re comforted knowing that Don is in a better place. No more pain; no more struggles; just peace. Finally… the peace he so desperately wanted. We will miss our camping trips, holidays (especially our annual Halloween outings), and who whos! He and Scott always had a cold bottle of Canadian Mist in the fridge should we visit him or vice versa (that’s what we called who who). We’ll cherish all the time spent with Don and his family and are blessed to have known this man. He fought so long and so hard and NEVER gave up. It’s not goodbye… it’s so long dear friend. Don will truly be missed. We always enjoyed him and his funny sense of humor at all the family get-togethers at my parents and brother’s house (Scott and Laurie Inda). Loved camping with him as well. He fought a good fight. Rest in peace my friend.

Don was such a wonderful and fun person to be around. We really enjoyed having him to our house for whatever family function we were celebrating or just for the heck of it. We also had a great time with him on our camping trips. We will miss him a lot.
