Donald D. Skalitzky

Donald D. Skalitzky, age 73, after a courageous battle with cancer passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Saturday October 20, 2007.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26th, 2007 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Friends may call on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

He was born on February 9, 1934 to Alfred and Rose Skalitzky in Milwaukee, WI. He married the love of his life, Patricia, on February 19, 1955. He worked as a mechanic until his retirement in June 1997. Don and Pat moved to the town of Oxford in November 1998.

Don is survived by Patricia, his wife of 52 beautiful years, his children Donna (and Dave), Douglas, Dale and Donald (and Zhanna), grandchildren Jason, Krystle, Ashley, Daria, Dorotea and great-grandchild Noah. Two brothers James Skalitzky (and Leona), Arthur Skalitzky (and Doris) and one sister Karen Amend. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A special thank you to Kathy and Myron Krueger for all the care and help they gave to Don.
