Donna C. Holden, age 83, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin died Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Arborview Court in Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Interment will be at the White Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Friday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Donna was born April 21, 1934, in Easton, Wisconsin to James and Pearl Fairfield-McVey.
She married Dewey Holden of Nekoosa in 1951 in Racine, Wisconsin. They lived in Racine County until the mid-1980’s where they raised their family. Following their retirement, they returned to Nekoosa and most recently to Wisconsin Rapids.
While living in Racine, Donna worked as a CNA at High Ridge Nursing Home. After returning to Nekoosa she worked at the Manor in Wisconsin Rapids as a CNA. Donna also worked at the “Craft Shop” in the Rapids Mall where she painted the toy name trains that Dewey made and served as a clerk and board secretary.
Donna enjoyed sewing, doing alterations, puzzles, watching local & national stock car racing and spending time outdoors in the gazebo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Elda Fairfield; infant daughter, Dawn Holden; grandson, Aric Gatling; sister, Betty (Jack) Ostrum, and brother-in-law, Leonard Renner.

Donna had such a loving and energetic spirit. We are so sorry to hear the news of her passing. She will be missed by all of us. Donna was a sweet, loving, caring lady. I have many memorable times when we were together at family gatherings. Dewey and Kids, I think of you often.
