Drew W. Earnest

Drew W. Earnest, age 58, of Adams, Wisconsin formerly of Zion, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2010 at the Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

A casual memorial gathering will be on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. in Zion, Illinois from 2:00p.m. until 5:00p.m.

Drew was born January 18, 1952 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Allen and Mildred (Kimbrell) Earnest. Following his high school graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Drew married his high school sweetheart Barbara Loveless on June 26, 1971 in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois the couple recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary.

Together they raised their only son Bruce W. Earnest who later gave them three beautiful grandchildren.

Drew was a long time employee of the Cherry Corporation in Waukegan, Illinois.

He enjoyed golfing and was a champion trap shooter but it was for his love of fishing that brought him to retire in Adams, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers donations to the family are suggested to off set medical expenses.

He was preceded in death by his father: William Allen Earnest; and father-in-law & mother-in-law: Chuck & Teresa Loveless.

Brother in Law: Glen (Tina) Monete of Zion, Illinois
Brother in Law: Bill Loveless of Hernando, Florida
Brother in Law: Steve Loveless of Jacksonville, Florida
Further Survived by: many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
