Mike and I are so glad we had a visit together in August. Earl always was joking around regardless of how he felt. I will always remember what he said to his brother Mike, “If you can live to be close to 80 so can I. Well Earl, you sure did!!! Our prayers are with you and we will see you on Saturday.
Dear Eileen and family: We are so sorry to hear the loss of your beloved husband and father, Earl. I will always remember his wonderful sense of humor, big smile, and jokes. I fondly remember the many camping trips we shared – especially the evening songs by the campfire with his brother, “Big Mike.” My first pig roast was at Earl’s farm outside of Allenton, followed by many more at Leroy’s farm – shared with our HUGE extended family. What wonderful, fun times those were. I even appreciated them as a child, but appreciated it even more many decades later. We also sincerely appreciate Earl, Eileen and Debbie attending our father’s (Herbie) 90th Birthday celebration and his funeral this past January. I know it was difficult for Earl at the time, but I also know dad loved seeing him again. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this time. We will see you on Saturday.
