Edgar R. Wolff, age 94, of Friendship, Wisconsin died January 16, 2014 at the VillaPinesLivingCenter in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Edgar was born April 13, 1919 in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, the son of Walter and Ida Marie (Bergholtz) Wolff. He was baptized on May 18, 1919 at St. Paul’s LutheranChurch in LakeMills and was confirmed on April 19, 1932 at St. John’sLutheranChurch in Waterloo.
The Lord blessed Ed with family. On October 12, 1940, he married Audrey Pann, and they were blessed with twelve children. On April 24, 1974, Ed married Beverly Raether, and the Lord blessed Ed with another child. This year Ed & Bev would have celebrated their 40th anniversary.
Ed farmed in the township of Waterloo and Medina and was a milk hauler for his brother Arnold for many years. He then was a field mechanic for Stokely USA retiring from there in 1984. Upon retirement, he moved to the Adams/Friendship area.
He enjoyed time with his family and appreciated every visit. He enjoyed the outdoors including camping, hunting, fishing and going for rides. He spent time in his garage keeping the equipment and his Farmall Tractor in working order. He was a member of St. Paul’s Ev. LutheranChurch in Wisconsin Rapids and served as an usher there for several years.
Ed is survived by his wife; Beverly of Friendship; 13 children: Judy Burghaus of Medford, Phyllis Haerterich & her husband Roy of Caledonia, IL, Cindy Wolff & Don of Jefferson, Bonnie Mierendorf & her husband Butch of Waterloo, Hollie Knaack of Fort Atkinson, Ginger Christiansen & her husband Jim of Palmyra, Richard Wolff & his wife Bonnie of Waterloo, Sharon Dobratz & her husband Brian of Jefferson, Jerry Wolff & Pam of Marshall, Patsy Kanthak & her husband Bob of Judsonia, AR, Frederick Wolff & Jeanne of Waterloo, Mary Shuett & her husband Rick of Jefferson and Amy Malm & her husband Michael of Beaver Dam; 26 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 10 great- great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; Ernest, Vernon and Stanley Wolff, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters – Helen Asherin and Margaret Schuett, two brothers – Clarence and Arnold Wolff, two sons–in-law – Roger Knaack and Frank Burghaus, two grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

So sorry for your loss. He had a long life, longer than most, and is now out of his pain. We are unable to attend the services but will be thinking of you and all of his children and their families.
