Edith Lorraine Quinnell, age 90, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Saturday, November 2nd, 2019, at  Gundersen Moundview Hospital and Clinics in Friendship.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 9th, 2019 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale, Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Interment will be at the Mount Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home and again from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at church.

Born on the family farm in the Town of Strongs Prairie on March 1st, 1929, the daughter of Bert and Dolly (Austin) Olson. She attended Sullivan one-room school through 7th grade, 8th grade at Arkdale Grade School and graduated from A-F High School in 1947. She worked for Home Furniture as a secretary in Wisconsin Rapids until her marriage to Dale D. Quinnell on January 25th, 1948 in Adams, Wisconsin. They lived in Wisconsin Rapids until 1950, when they bought their farm in rural Friendship.

Edith was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale. She enjoyed bowling, cribbage and spending time with family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband; sisters: Marian Mannel, Doris Conner, Beulah Gradisher, and Inez Kiles; brother, Norman Olson; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Quinnell.

Survivors include her daughter, Kay Premo; and sons: Dennis , Glenn (Peg), Larry (Doneta), Donald (Susan) and Robert; grandchildren: Kelly (Jerry) Lecy, Chris Quinnell, Bryan (Nicole) Quinnell, Brett (Michelle) Quinnell, Bethanie (Jacob) Berndt, Nick (Kayla) Quinnell, Nathan Quinnell, Corey (Erin) Quinnell, Dustin (Taisa) Quinnell, and Abigail Quinnell. She is further survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her family, who will forward them on to her favorite charities.
