Edward G. Robinson, age 68, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin, died early Wednesday morning, March 8, 2017 at his home.

Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Mt. Repose Cemetery. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate.

Edward was born on November 26th, 1948 at the Adams Hospital in Adams, Wisconsin, the son of Omer Robinson and Thelma Irene (Jordan) Robinson. Edward was in the U.S. Army from July 1966 to July 1969 and he served two tours in Vietnam during his three-year enlistment. He was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/Device, 2 O/S Bars, Purple Heart, and Marksman(M14). Since his honorable discharge he has been a great auto mechanic until his health got him down several years ago. He loved his wife and children and extended family. He always had a smile for everyone he met and he enjoyed life.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, father-in-law and Brother, Samuel Lee Robinson.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; ex-wife, Marsha Becker; children, Marcus Lee Robinson and Meredith (Michael) Bredeweg; step -children, Kristina (Garrett) Harper, Tyrae Simon, Tyler Simon; Sisters and Brothers: Mary Lee (Gordon) Klaus, Dennis (Nancy) Robinson, Geraldine (Keith) Lanphear, Charles (Kay) Robinson, and Randall (Ann) Haskins; Aunt, Myrtle Jordan; grandchildren, Chloe Madison Robinson and Marcus Lee Robinson Jr., Grace Noelle Harper, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Roseberry’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with the local arrangements.
