
Edward Michael Nelson
Edward Michael Nelson, born March 17th, 1960 (age 63) peacefully passed away, with
loving family at his side on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in Rome Wisconsin from
Pancreatic Cancer.
Edward (Mike) was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He
was a hardworking truck driver of 39 years and retired from that position in 2022. He
enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, camp fires, jeep rides with the top down,
bird watching, boating, being near water (lakes, oceans, pools) and making people
laugh.
Preceded in death by parents Charles T. Nelson, Frances R. Nelson, and brother Chuck
Nelson. Dogs Cody, Zeke, Bowzer, Rylee.
Survived by wife of 38 years Cynthia Nelson, children Derek Nelson(Helen Schrock),
Lynsey Thibodeau(Ryan), Logan Nelson(Kate), Brother Dave Nelson(Chari), Steven
Nelson(Pat), Grandchildren Rayna, Quinn, Aidree, Jax, Millie, and several nieces and
nephews.
Celebration of life will be held Sunday October 22 from 12pm-4pm at Camelot on the
Lake Pavilion, Rome, Wisconsin.

My only solace in this grief is that Ed didn’t suffer long. My heart is heavy for you all.
Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow!!! I’m so sadden by this. He is a wonderful soul. He was so helpful with our needs (dispatcher at RTS) and seemed to always leave with a smile. Very sincere condolences to Eddie’s family and friends. I have missed his spirit.
Rest in Peace Fast Eddie! Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Our years working together at RTS were great! The world is a worse place without your laugh! Roll on Big Rigger!

I am so sorry to hear this Ed and I go way back in the day from work and getting together with our Family’s up north we had so much fun on the lake and at our place up north many wonderful times and memories He will Truly Be missed
My sincere condolences to Ed’s family and friends. I worked with Ed while we drove for RTS, and always enjoyed his company and laughs. RIP Ed your was always appreciated and admired. God’s speed to you and your family.
