Elaine Hannah LaValley, age 85, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale, Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church.
Elaine was born February 17, 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Julius and Freida (Sauer) Blunck. She married Eli LaValley on September 22, 1945 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Elaine worked as head counselor at Lad Lake in Dousman, WI for 18 years. Following retirement, she and Eli moved to Adams County in 1983.
Elaine enjoyed golfing, taking walks, bowling and more recently visiting the Adams County Senior Center where she visited with friends, ate lunch, and played cards.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Freida Blunck; husband, Eli LaValley; foster-son, Donald Schamm; brother, William (Carol) Blunck; and sister-in-law, Olive Crooker.

Further survived by many relatives and friends.
