Elaine J. McGibbon, age 70, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin went to be with her loved ones on August 3, 2013 at the Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Mt. Repose Cemetery in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. Doug Schauer will officiate.
Elaine was born June 9, 1943 in Potsdam, New York to Archie and Eleanor (Rust) Trimm.
She was raised in Colton, New York and she married Richard Robinson on August 26, 1961.
Elaine later on married Robert McGibbon on December 7, 1974 in Potsdam, New York. They moved to Wisconsin in 1980 where they resided for the rest of their lives.
She enjoyed crocheting, gambling, doing crosswords, shopping, collecting dolls and especially spending time with her family.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Archie & Eleanor Trimm; husband, Robert McGibbon; son in law, Randy Miller; Great-Grandson, Tristen Lumby; Great-Grandson, Boston Robinson; brother, Archie Trimm; brother, Richard Trimm; brother, James Trimm; sister, Phillis White and sister, Beverly White

To Sharon & family, I am very sorry for your loss. It’s very hard to lose a mother, sister, & many more.. As I knew her she was a wonderful woman and will be missed. All my prayers are with you and family and god will be with you.. <3

Sharon, Dale, David, and all. I remember meeting your mom when you were in my classes. What a nice lady. This picture of her is beautiful and shows her pleasant personality in her smile. I seen Elaine Friday in rapids I gave her a hug and ask her how she is doing and she said good. we talked about her birthday party and we did a lot of laughing..we had some good times together. I will miss her..Sorry for your loss

Mom it hurts so bad and now you are not here to take it away like when we were sick you nursed us back to health. My heart aches to hug you and kiss you. I know Dad was there to greet you with open arms and you both are dancing. Give my husband and grandson a hug and kiss for me.

Please show me a sign that you are with me every now and then. Or at least make me laugh and remind me of something.
