Elllsworth Bloss
Ellsworth Kevin Bloss, age 67
Last breath this side of Heaven Jan 12, 2025.
Kevin lived his life with devotion to family and community. He proudly followed his 3 older brothers Melvin, Marvin, and Kenneth into serving 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corp. Then serving faithfully on the Village of Rock Springs Fire Dept. First Responders/ EMT for 27 years and retiring in June of 2001. He loved helping line up parades, working the beer tent and BBQs. Especially proud teaching and winning many trophies competing in water barrel fights. Kevin enjoyed his many outings as a member with the Baraboo ATV/UTV club.
He also spent much time in the company of nephew Ty (Stacy) Bloss in family target shooting competitions.
Kevin will be greatly missed by brothers Melvin Bloss, Marvin Bloss, his sisters in law, many nieces and nephews, close friends Joy and Dave Carroll, Bob Kissack, Dave Strait, and a host of others.
Kevin will be at eternal rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, North Freedom, Wi. next to his parents, Ellsworth “Buttons” Bloss and Bernice (Kleinschmidt) Bloss.
Thank you to Baraboo/Madison VA, UW Hospital, especially the staff of Ingleside Communities of Mt Horeb with AGRACE Hospice assisting in Kevins Care. With appreciation to nieskist Amy Goff and nephew Ty Bloss for the hard choices.
A private family funeral with military rites will be held in June.
