Ernest David Lipke, age 73, of Coloma, Wisconsin died Monday, November 18, 2013 at his home following long battle with cancer.
Private family services are planned for the spring.
Ernest was born January 05, 1940 in Almond, Wisconsin to Ernest David and Norma Grace (Bigsby) Lipke. He and his siblings were raised by his grandparents, Edmund and Ethel Bigsby on the family farm. He graduated from Wautoma High School in 1958 and entered the Army later that year. Ernest served from 1958 to 1960. He lived in California, where he obtained a Mechanical Engineering Degree at Long Beach Community College. He married Barbara Alice Buelna on October 20, 1973 in Las Vegas, NV. Ernest returned to Wisconsin in 1980 with his family.
Ernest enjoyed working and fixing anything mechanical, fishing, building and flying his R/C planes, and going to dinner at his favorite restaurant in Wautoma, Lake Shore.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be to Ernest’s family.
Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Norma Lipke; wife, Barbara Lipke; son, Brett Lipke; daughter, Cheryl Lipke; grandson, Michael Lipke; brother, Lyle Lipke; and grandparents, Edmund and Ethel Bigsby.Survivors:
