Deepest sympathy to Ervin’s family and so sorry to know of his passing away. So many years ago I knew Ervin and his brother Jim when his parents were starting up the Duck Creek Campground west of Wyocena on Hwy G. They used to stop at Wyocena Skelly where I worked and it was always so much fun just seeing them and listening to the things they were doing and living their lives. I used to go by there on my Harley and they would come out and wave as they were just young boys then helping with the campground! I always remember how good they were back in those days and it seems a lifelong habit for them. I wish I had known where Ervin was as it would surely have been fun to relive the Duck Creek days. It is good to know Ervin stayed in the area and added to the long pioneer heritage of his family in Wisconsin. With memories and sincere thanks.

I was just thinking how much I missed him. He was a very sweet guy. I grew up with him since he lived next door to my house. He loved me like a grandfather would or even dad. He made sure I was loved and cared for. Blessings to the family and of course hugs and kisses!!
