Flossie Mae Bloss Preston nee Drew, age 84, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin passed away at home on Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Roseberry’s Funeral
Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Interment will be at the New Chester Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Flossie was born May 1, 1931 in Marquette County, Wisconsin to Harold and Eylene (Haskins) Drew.
She attended Oxford High School.
Flossie married Clifford C. Bloss on April 30, 1948 in Adams County, Wisconsin. She later married Ron Preston in May of 1973.
Flossie & Clifford worked together for many years on their family farm. Flossie then became an over the road truck driver. She worked various retail jobs, retiring after 13 years working in the Dells.
Flossie enjoyed flower & vegetable gardening, canning, dancing, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
As a young girl Flossie was very active in the Adams County 4-H Club.
She was a member of the Oxford High School Alumni.
Flossie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Eylene Drew; first husband, Clifford Bloss; second husband, Ron Preston; son, Richard Allen Bloss; daughter, Cheryl Ann Bloss; sons-in-law, Terry Semrow, Frank Schaetzka, Frank Warner, and Clarence Ott; grandson, Mark Schaetzka; twin great-grandchildren, Noelle & Joshua Lavallee; Special Friend, John Latzl.

My condolences to the Bloss family. I worked with Flossie at Rathbun’s a really long time ago and she was a pleasure to be around with a great sense of humor. One also had to admire her work ethics. After reading the condolences, I’m confident that others she crossed paths with felt admiration for her attributes as well. My sympathies in your loss of your mom.
Our sympathies to the Bloss family on the loss of a truly remarkable lady. Flossie was a wonderful mom, a woman of strong character and a joy to visit with. She had an uplifting smile and a friendly hello whenever we saw her. We take comfort knowing Flossie has found peace, joy and eternal life in Heaven, and is having a wonderful reunion with past family and friends.
