Floyd Weldon Pattillo

Floyd Weldon Pattillo, age 82, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at his home following a short illness.

Memorial gathering will from 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 2nd, 2011 at the familys home, 1873 State Road 13, Friendship, WI.

Floyd was born September 18, 1928 in Houston, Texas to Alfred Floyd and R.E. (Smith) Pattillo. He was veteran of WWII, Korea, and the Vietnam Wars, serving in both the Army Air Corps and Navy. Following his military career, he joined the Civil Service in Alameda, CA. This is where Floyd met Betty Jean Peterson, whom he married on March 15, 1969 in Las Vegas, NV.

Floyd enjoyed woodworking, telling war stories, detailed drawings, engineering, and making homemade ice cream.

Floyd was preceded in death by parents, Alfred and R.E. Pattillo; wife, Betty Jean Pattillo; two brothers; and two sisters.

Daughter: Debra Reynolds of Anderson, MO
Grandchild: Mackenzie Yarbrough of Adams, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Andrew Zavat of Raleigh, NC
brother-in-law: Daniel Peterson of Springfield, OR
brother-in-law: Clinton Peterson of Mankato, CA
