Frances A. Abram, age 82, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

A celebration of life will be held later this summer.

Frances was born on February 17, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Frank and Louise (Erhardt) Oresnik.

Frances dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She served as a foster parent and opened her home and heart to many children and families during their times of need. Her compassion and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; her son, John Wright; her daughter, Donna Wright; her great-grandsons baby Sean, and Constantine; many siblings; and her special friend, William Berg.

She is survived by her children, Judith (James) Urban, Elisabeth Wright, Scott (Pam) Wright, Sharon Rosalez, and Victoria (Daniel) Kosterman; her sisters, Louise Kries and Mary Filo; her daughter-in-law, Rosa; along with 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
