Francis M. Musil, age 82, of Arkdale died November 15, 2009 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, Wisconsin following a brief illness.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
An additional Mass will be held at the Church of the Visitation in Minneapolis, Minnesota at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. prior to the Mass. Interment will be at the St. Mary’s Cemetery & Mausoleum in Minneapolis following the Mass.
Francis was born December 23, 1926 in New Prague, Minnesota to Michael and Margaret (Renneberg) Musil.
Francis served overseas in WWII with the United States Army 313th Engineering Company. He married
Ruth E. Williams on September 30, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Francis worked for 18 years for the Milwaukee Road. He worked for 18 years in the maintenance department of Abbott Laboratories. He and his wife Ruth retired to Arkdale in 1975.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Musil; Brothers: Joe, Walter, Lawrence, Sylvester, Norbert, and George; sisters: Isabel Busch, Margaret Sandin and Anastasia Weides
