Gail Lynn Schattschneider, age 50, of Hancock, Wisconsin died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at her home.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at BJ’s in Hancock, Wisconsin.
Gail was born February 4, 1960 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Eugene and Arlene (Hudziak) Winklemann. She grew up in Muskego, Wisconsin where she graduated from High School. She married Dale Schattschneider on September 26, 1987 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Gail enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping, and playing with the grandkids.
Gail ran village wide rummage sales for the past 10 years, helped run the Hancock Fire Department Labor day games for the past 15 years; and helped the American Red Cross for 4 years.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Arlene Winkelmann; and brother, Jim Winkelmann.

I will always remember Gail’s wonderful attitude toward life. Even though hers was not easy, I never heard her complain. She was an inspiration.
I am so sorry to hear about Gail. She had a sweet sweet soul. I will always cherish the memories of our childhood. She always lit up a room with her smile and laugh. She will be missed.
We are very sorry to hear about Gail’s passing. She was truly a good person. Our thoughts are with her family during this trying time.
I am saddened by the passing of another family member, but feel very lucky to have known Gail for a little while on this earth. Perhaps I will one day join her in heaven.
