Web_MaleskiGary Alan Maleski, age 66, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, after a long illness at his home surrounded by his family.

Memorial services will be 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.  Roberta Pantaleo will officiate.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Gary was born August 21, 1949 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to William and Bette (Gibney) Maleski.

He attended Assumption High School in Wisconsin Rapids.

Gary married Penny Lynne Pease on April 5, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He worked for Consolidated Papers, Water Works & Lighting Commission, and Mid-State Nissan-Mazda in Wisconsin Rapids. Gary and his business partner Jim then started North Bay Lighting. In 1994 he accepted a position as salesman for Graybar Electric Company in Plover, Wisconsin where he worked until his retirement.

Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, quiet weekends at the family cottage in Woodruff, sailing, and cars.

He was a member of the Heart of Wisconsin Trap & Skeet Club.

Gary was preceded in death by his Parents, William & Bette Maleski.

Son:  Austin (Deedra) Maleski of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Grandson:  Ocean Maleski of Lafayette, Indiana

Grandson:  Anakin Maleski of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Sister:  Dawn (Charlie) Meyers of North Potomac, Maryland

Mother of Austin: Karen Joosten of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Beloved dog: Peeky
