Gary L. Stickley

scan_Stickley_webGary L. Stickley, age 79, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Per his wishes there will be no services.

Gary was born December 17, 1935 in Owatonna, Minnesota to Howard and Minna (Krampitz) Stickley.

He attended school in Owatonna, Minnesota, later he enlisted in the United States Army in December of 1953 and was honorably discharged in November of 1956.

Gary married Susan Toelle on January 21, 1967 in Freeport, Illinois.

He worked for Minneapolis Honeywell for over 20 years before retiring in 2000.  Gary & Susan then moved to Adams County.

Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, hot air ballooning, and especially spending time with his family.

He was a member of the United in Christ Lutheran Church in Dellwood.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Minna Stickley and sister, Betty Grandmason.

Son:  Mike (Cynthia) Stickley of Loves Park, Illinois

Son:  Randy Puckett

Son:  Larry Puckett

Granddaughter:  Erin (Daniel) Bragg of Nekoosa, Wisconsin

Granddaughter:  Holly Stickley of Rockford, Illinois

Granddaughter:  Elizabeth Stickley of Loves Park, Illinois

5 Great-Grandsons:  Michael, Colton, (Logan, Joshua, and) Lucas of Nekoosa,

Sister:  Jeanette (Don) VanDenbroeke of Loves Park, Illinois

Brother:  Myron (Betty) Stickley of Fridley, Minnesota

Sister:  Carol (Alvin) Borchert of Owatonna, Minnesota

Further survived by:  numerous nieces and nephews

    Alan and I met Gary at Villa Pines while I was a resident there and when we volunteered for Bingo.Gary was a nice person and he really enjoyed playing bingo seeing his wife Sue and his great grand children.we give our deepest Condolenices to his family.
