Gerald L. Welda, age 66, of Oxford, formerly of Janesville Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on July 20, 2012 at his home.
Graveside memorial services will be 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Townline Cemetery, Town of Springville, Adams County, Wisconsin. Military honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Gerald was born March 16, 1946 in Crawford County, Wisconsin to Lester and Freda (McDaniel) Welda.
He graduated from high school in Prairie du Chien. Gerald served in the United States Army and upon returning from the service he worked for General Motors in Janesville for 30 years. Following his retirement he was able to fulfill his dreams which included opening a bar and also an auction house. After fulfilling those dreams, he moved to Adams County where he enjoyed the rest of his retirement.
Gerald was a die-hard Chevy person until the day he died.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles

Grandson: Anthony (Lindsey Habeck) Welda of Milton, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Ashley Marquardt of Janesville, Wisconsin
Grandson: Jamison Welda of Janesville, Wisconsin
Great-Granddaughter: Lillie Welda of Milton, Wisconsin
