Gertrude K. Tuttle

Gertrude K. Tuttle, age 95, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin.  Father James P. McNamee will officiate.  Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. 

Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m.  Friends may also call on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of Mass.

Gertrude was born December 15, 1911 in Davenport, Iowa to William H. and Gertrude (Reufer) Keefe.   She moved to Adams in 1922 with her family.  Gertrude married Charles Alfred Tuttle on March 31, 1934.

Gertrude enjoyed her large family and keeping in touch with them.  She also enjoyed bowling, golfing, watching AF baseball, and sewing.

Gertrude was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, PCCW, and former Director of CCD classes.  She was a member and past President of PTA, American Cancer Society, Boy scout leader, 4-H Leader, AF Community Club, and the Moundview Hospital Auxiliary.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles A. Tuttle; brother, William "Sparky" Keefe; sister, Beatrice "Bea" Holland-Orth; and an infant granddaughter, Tamara Tuttle; 

Memorials may be given in Gertrudes memory to the St. Josephs Building Fund, Adams County Food Pantry, AF Education Foundation, or the Moundview Memorial Hospital Foundation.
