Glenn was born December 15, 1949 in Duval County, Florida to Glenn and Elsie (Cornelius) Moore. He proudly served his Country by enlisting in the Army and went on to serve two tours in Vietnam. First with the Big Red One, and secondly with the PBR boats. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he moved to Adams, Wisconsin and continued to serve others with his career with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department. During this time with the Sheriff’s Dept he served in the capacity of Patrol Officer, Investigator, and Patrol Sergeant.
Glenn married Carol Wilcox on May 1st, 2012 at Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.
While Glenn enjoyed many things in life such as traveling, feeding, and watching the birds (especially the chickadees), gardening, watching the deer, or the many projects on the farm for this wife such as building a pond or the flower beds, his true happiness came from spending time with his wife Carol, and his dogs Mist-Sea, Winky, and grand dog Crystal, and his family and friends.
Glenn was preceded his parents: Glenn and Elsie Moore.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Carol; sons: Cheyenne Patterson, Eric Moore, Kirk (Ann) Moore, Mark Moore, and Sam Wollin – who was like a son to him; daughters: Karlye (Bill) Parfievich, Morgan (Daniel) Rowell, Shantell (Aaron) Shannon, Brook Hoffman, and Kade (Ryan) Hoffman; grandchildren: Nelly, Gwen, Xander, Riley, Eli, Aiden, and Freya; extended family: Sandy Haskins, Alex Hosen, and Shannon Collins, other relatives, and many friends.
