Helen A. Jensen, age 87, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away on May 12, 2012 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. Rev. Richard Corning will officiate. Interment will be at the Windridge Cemetery in Cary, Illinois at a later date. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Helen was born December 28, 1924 in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin to John and Agnes Haarmans.
She married Carl J. Jensen on November 28, 1942 in Berwyn, Illinois, where they lived until the early 1990’s when they relocated to Adams County and more recently resided at Liberty Manor.
Helen worked as a seamstress for the Elgin Mental Health Center in Illinois where she retired after over 20 years of employment.
Helen and Carl enjoyed spending time at the Adams County Aging and Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Agnes Harmaans; sister, Gertrude Bastiaans; brother, Lawrence “Sonny” Harmaans; sister, Gladys Kieft; sister, Florence Burde & sister, Grace Sosolik

Son: Raymond Jensen of Marengo, Illinois
Granddaughter: Denise Jensen of Las Vegas, Nevada
Granddaughter: Renee Jensen of Mount Pleasant, Michigan
Brother: Robert Harmaans of Naperville, Illinois
She is further survived by many nieces & nephews
