Ida Joan Hedding, age 74 of Mankato, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010.  She was born July 13, 1936 to Cora (Stormoen) and Irvin Hage in Necedah, Wisconsin.  Ida was united in marriage to Lee Hedding on March 2, 1957.  Together they had six children.
She is survived by her children:  Carol Wheeler of Belle Glade, Florida; Donna Lindsey of Enderlin, North Dakota; Roger Hedding; Dan (Carla) Hedding of Mankato, Minnesota; David (Jeannie) Hedding of Watertown, South Dakota; Chris Hedding of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters Irene Reiger of Monroe, Michigan; Lucille (Bob) Stalker of Kenosha, Wisconsin; Jean DeBord of Altoona, Wisconsin and brother Donald (Joan) Hage of Racine, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lee.
Ida was a beloved mother.  Family was her life.  She had a love for ice cream, cardinals, the color red and finding bargains at rummage sales.  She had a great wit and sense of humor. 
Idas final wish was to be cremated.  A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 am Saturday October 30th at Roseberrys Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.  Burial will follow at Wyeville Cemetery in Wyeville, Wisconsin.  She will be laid to rest beside the love of her life, Lee.
