Iva Irene Sauer

Iva Irene Sauer, age 82, of Wisconsin Rapids formerly of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away on October 20, 2010 at Pine Ridge Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the New Life Assembly of God in Plainfield, Wisconsin. Pastor Todd Winkler will officiate. Interment will be at the Mount Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home and again at 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the New Life Assembly of God Church.

Iva was born August 28, 1928 in New Rome Township, Wisconsin to Arthur Emery and Ethel Marie (Meddaugh) DeWitt. She married Harold Harry Sauer on June 18, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa.

Iva was a Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Superintendant. She was P.T.A. President at Pineland School. Iva earned a trip to Hawaii working as an instructor for Weight Losers. She enjoyed visiting and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold H. Sauer; parents: Arthur & Ethel DeWitt; brother, Oliver DeWitt; brother, Cecil DeWitt; sister, Ila Sparks; sister, Amaryallis Freye; brother-in-law, Orris Sparks; and brother-in-law, Paul Billman.

Granddaughter: Krystal Sauer of Plover, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Amy Sauer of Adams, Wisconsin

Sister: Juanita Billman of, Missouri
Sister: Darleen (Fuzzy) Klevene of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Sister in Law: Roberta DeWitt of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Sister in Law: Lorraine DeWitt of Stevens Point, Wisconsin
Further survived by: many nieces, nephews relatives and friends
