James Alton Berg Sr., age 74, of Westfield, Wisconsin died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at home following a battle with cancer.
Per Jamess request no services are planned.
James was born January 11, 1937 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was raised by Alton and Louise (Schennsan) Berg. James married Jane Morgan on Feb. 27, 1959. This marriage was blessed with one daughter, Judy Ann before ending in divorce in 1965. James married Elaine Charlie Oesterreich on November 13, 1967 in Waukegan, Illinois. This was blessed with five children before ending in divorce in 1992.
He retired from Inland Contract Carriers of West Bend, Wisconsin.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Louise Berg; birth mother, Dorothy Wittenberg; brothers, Donny and Butch; and sisters, Jane and Waunie.

So sorry for your loss. I dispatched Jim on many loads through his last few years at Inland – Always enjoyed talking to him. His dedication to his family was always apparent in the stories he told. My deepest sympathy to all of you.
