James Martin Johnson

James Martin Johnson, age 52, of Friendship, Wisconsin died on January 8, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Memorial services will be 12:00 Noon on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.   Father James P. McNamee will officiate.  Interment will be at the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

James was born September 1, 1960 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to Harold and Darlene Johnson.

He graduated from Adams-Friendship High School and worked for ODC in Wisconsin Rapids for a few years and then for Friendship Products. He was married to Margaret Matrick and they had one son, Matt.  Their marriage ended in divorce. James loved watching the Packers, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Johnson and his brother, Mark Johnson

Brother:  Bruce Johnson of Lake Mills, Wisconsin

Sister:  Lori (Steve) Cheek of Marshfield, Wisconsin

    So sorry to hear about Jimmy. I was one of his caretakers up till March. I last saw him the week before Christmas and brought him some goodies which he enjoyed. He will be sadly missed!
