James Thomas Cashman

James Thomas Cashman, age 69, of Adams, Wisconsin died Monday, January 10, 2011 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Military honors will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Interment, at a later date, will be at the St. Leos Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.

James was born December 19, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Patricia (Renehan) Cashman. He served in the Navy from 1959 to 1961. James worked as a police man in Riverdale, IL and later became a private detective for a railroad and in Adams, WI. He married Joann Carlson on August 14, 1993 in Rockford, IL.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Patricia Cashman; brother, Patrick Cashman; and his granddaughter, Michelle.

Survivors includes his wife, Joann Cashman of Adams, Wisconsin; son, John James Cashman; daughter, Tracy; brother, Dennis Cashman, brother, Paul Cashman; grandchildren: Cody and Megan and his devoted dog, Dolly.
