He was born in Racine on June the 27, 1937, and lived much of his adult life in the State of Wisconsin which he loved.
He attended San Diego State College in 1959 and on through the middle 60s where he earned both a bachelors and a masters degree. In the music department he met three other singers and formed a vocal quartet who traveled and performed successfully as the Townsmen.
During that same time, he also served our country in the Marine Corps Reserves.
His Professional career focused on helping others as both a probation officer and the Supervisor for the Social Work Department serving the County, he lived in.
From a hobby perspective his passion was music both writing and playing his guitar. A close second of course was watching and rooting for the Green Bay Packers.
Jim will be missed by his family in more ways than can be expressed, but we know he is now at peace which gives us all reason to rejoice.
He is survived by his wife Sharon who he was blissfully married to for over 29 years, Son Billy (Wife Lisa), Stepdaughter Jennifer, Stepson Christopher, and Brother Gary.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you mourn the loss of Jim, wonderful man, always a smile on his face, songs to play and sing..he will be truly missed,
May God bless you 🙏.
Much Love
Dawn
