John, Mike, Martin and family. So sorry to hear about your mom. I have had the pleasure of knowing John Sr, Jeanette and the Alekna family ever since I started sailing over 20 years ago. The entire family has always been very close. I would consider John, Mike, and Martin three of my best friends. I have never seen three brothers do so many things together. John Sr and Jeanette raised a pretty cool family. Way to go Jeanette.
Martin and Tammie, our condolences. We are sorry to hear of you loss. Lean on a the beautiful memories when you need them.
Larry and I have memories that go way back to “John’s One Stop”. It seems like just yesterday when Larry’s mom worked for your parents at the store. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family from all of us.
May you feel gthe healing touch of God’s presence. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Our Hearts and Prayers go out to the family at this difficult time. May God bring peace and comfort to all. We are very sorry for your lose.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Alekna and Zenzola families. I have had the privilege of calling Jeanette friend and family for over 20 years, through sailing on Lake Petenwell and through my daughter who is married to her son Martin. Jeanette had an infectious smile and laugh that made everyone feel warm and welcome when they met her. This warmth stemmed from her Italian heritage, of which she was so proud. To her children and grandchildren, she has left an inheritance of love for life and for the wonderful food of Italy. For the rest of us she has left fond memories of her Cortesia (grace). I will miss you very much Jeanette. Peace be with you and with all of those people whose lives you have touched.
Jan was a wonderful person who kept positive all of these years. She was so much fun to know growing up. My sympathy to you all.
I grew up in Arkdale and went to school with John and Judy. Prayers are with you all at this time of loss. Her legacy will live on in all of you.
May God, family, friends comfort you during this difficult time.
