Jeannette Evelyn Jensen, age 79, of Adams, Wisconsin died on Friday, June 8, 2007 at Moundview Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12th, 2007 at Roseberrys Funeral Home & Crematory. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Burial will follow at the East Arkdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at Roseberrys on Tuesday, June 12th from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Jeannette was born March 11, 1928 to Horace and Maude Kingsley in Adams, Wisconsin. She married Wilbur Jensen on May 31, 1957 in Arkdale, WI. She lived in Adams County all her life. She worked for many years as a telephone operator, also as a sales clerk for Johnson Dept. Store and as a cashier at the Red Owl Store.
Jeanette enjoyed bingo, playing cards, collecting dolls, word searches, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Arkdale, and charter member of the Hospital Auxiliary Partners, of which she was the first secretary.

She was preceded in death by parents, sister, Edith Sipla and her husband Ervin; brother, Robert Kingsley; granddaughter, Denise Kobs.
