Jeff was born September 9, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to Richard Carl and Kathryn Ruth (Obershaw) Holt. He grew up in Richland Center and then Adams where he graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1977. He attended WWTC in La Crosse before joining Navy. Following his service in the Navy, he worked for Metal-Fab, Castle Rock Container, Dependable Concrete, and later in construction.
Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mushroom hunting.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Kay Holt; and sister, Tamara Kay Holt.

Son: Brian Holt of Reedsburg, Wisconsin
Daughter: Theresa Holt of Reedsburg, Wisconsin
Brother: Rob Holt of Reedsburg, Wisconsin
Brother: Troy Holt of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin
Brother: Timothy Holt of La Crosse, Wisconsin
Brother: Todd (Irene Hartman) Holt of Baltimore, Maryland
Grandchild: Karsin
Grandchild: Trevin
Grandchild: Shelbie

Tim & family–My heart goes out to the famly–Jeff graduated same year i did-but i didn’t really know him, but he was so young. I am so sorry for the loss of a member of your family. Tim, we were close way back then, & i’m sorry for the loss of your brother. The years have went too fast & your brother was taken too soon.
