Jo Holmes, 76, Mother of Lewis II, David, and Gary died November 27, 2009 in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Jo was born April 29, 1933 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Samuel (Ross) and Bulah (Griffin) Erwin. Her marriage to Lewis Holmes ended in divorce. She enjoyed yellow roses, her Magnolia Tree, her three sons, three grandchildren, and her seven great grandchildren.
A Private family grave site service at the Colburn-Leola Cemetery in Colburn Township in Adams County Wisconsin was held Sunday November 29, 2009. Deborah Zuehlke Officiated.
Jo is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Autrey L. Erwin, two sisters, Ramona D. Erwin (infant) and Norma Jean Erwin.　
Survivors include her sons, Lewis (Michele) Holmes II, David, and Gary.　 Her three grandchildren, Misty (Clayton) LaMont, Amber Holmes, and Lewis (Crystal) Holmes III. Her Seven great grandchildren, Jacaup, Cole, Blaine, Madison, Camryn, Skylar, and Wyatt. Two brothers, R. G. (Wanda) Erwin of California, Edward (Dotty) Erwin of Montana, and one sister, Martha of Hugo, Oklahoma, Also a special friend Renee of Oklahoma, many friends and nieces and nephews.
Jo had touched the lives of many people and will be missed dearly.
Our condolences to Jo`s family, she will be greatly missed in Hugo,shes been a friend for years.
