It is with great sadness that the family of John J. Timmerman, of Adams, WI, announces his passing on Thursday, December 20 at the age of 75. John will be lovingly remembered by Carol, his wife of 47 years, and his children, Eric (Deanna) and Theresa (Sasha). John will also be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren – Ethan, Noah, Anna, Theodore, and Charlotte; by his three brothers William (Darlene), Gregory (Loretta), and Stanley (Linda) and his sister Mary; and by countless lifelong friends.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the home of Al and Gail Schultz (2224 16th Ave., Friendship, WI 53934). Gail Schultz will officiate.
John was born on September 21, 1943 in Carroll, Iowa to William Martin and Sophia Bertha (Reicks) Timmerman. He married Carol J. Strouts on August 6, 1971 in Minneapolis, MN. John enjoyed fishing. When he couldn’t go fishing, he played cards, worked on puzzles, watched birds, and listened to classic country music. But mostly he wanted to be fishing.

    John had to go away to many different clinics and hospitals over the last couple years and kept coming back and fighting on.
    The Good Lord must have finally decided JT was a keeper. HE didn’t throw him back this time.
