So sorry to for your family’s loss Barb! We will keep you in our prayers!
We were next door neighbors on the West Side as the children grew up. Sending my sympathy to the family.
John and I became good friends while he lived in Stevens Point. During the years before he and Pauline were divorced we served together as chaperones and/or leaders at many Scout activities, Church youth dances, father and son campouts and so forth as our children were growing up. We also served side by side in Church leadership and teaching positions. And I always enjoyed joining my tenor voice with his resonant bass singing hymns. He was a very good man. I’m grateful I saw him and was able to express my love to him one last time a couple of weeks before he passed. I send my love, thoughts, prayers and condolences to Barb and all of the Churchill children.

Barb and all. We are stunned that our friend and my buddy has gone. We wish we could be there to support you. One of the biggest things we have missed since we moved has been the good times we had with you and John. Going train watching and working with the layout with John is something that I have missed greatly.
