Judith “Judy” Anne Kierstyn
Judith “Judy” Anne Kierstyn, age 79, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin with family by her side.
A celebration of life will be held at Moundview Golf Course, 1930 14th Ct., Friendship on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Judy was born August 23, 1945, to Earl and Dorothy (Voboril) Fenner. Judy grew up in the Adams-Friendship area. She graduated from A-F High School in 1963, marrying her high school sweetheart Eugene Kierstyn in December of 1963. Their marriage was blessed with three sons: Bob, Tom, and Bill, who all still reside in the area. Judy lost Eugene to cancer in September of 1975. Judy raised their three boys on her own with the support and help of family, friends, and neighbors. She became a state certified day care provider for 25+ years.
Judy was an avid reader, and enjoyed music as she played the piano, organ and accordion, as well as attending County Jam sessions with her sister. Judy made several Afghans over the years continuing to enjoy the craft of crocheting and knitting and several other crafting projects. She had collections of angels, carnival glass, and most recently, cardinals. She enjoyed puzzles and word search books, however her greatest enjoyment was visiting with family and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by the love of her life: Eugene; parents: Earl and Dorothy Fenner; siblings: Diann Klatt, David Fenner, and Nancy Braford; nieces: Debra Kleven, and Ericka Hall; in-laws: Frances and Mary Kierstyn, James and Dorothy Kierstyn, Delores and Joseph Eskau, Owen and Dorothy McMahon, Harley and Joan Schatzlee, and Judith Kierstyn.
Judy is survived by her sons: Robert (Stephanie), Thomas (Shelly), and William (Sandra); brother: Michael (Paula) Fenner; brothers-in-law: Francis “Junior” (Pat) Kierstyn, John (Karen) Kierstyn, and Lenny Braford; grandchildren: Heather (Scott) Toltzmann, Ashley (Mark Jr.) Hoeffler, Amber Kierstyn, Shane (Skyler Turtenwald) Kierstyn, Walker (Mackenzie) Kierstyn, and Sarena Kierstyn; great-grandchildren: Cameron Toltzmann, Madelynn Toltzmann, Kira Hoeffler, Aria Hoeffler, and Liam Hoeffler.
The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Pines Living Center, My Choice Wisconsin, and Heartland Hospice for their help and providing compassion this past year. A special thank you to Julia Burrows for her companionship and friendship she provided to Judy.

So sorry to hear that Judy has passed. My condolences to Tom, Bob, Bill and their families. I will never forget what a nice lady Judy was, putting up with all of us kids running back and forth between the 3 houses on Werner Street! Rest in peace Mrs. Kierstyn. ❤️
I am so sorry to hear of Judy’s (Mrs. Kierstyn to me) passing. Living and growing up next door to her, I think of her often on warm days. She would have been playing her organ with the windows open. That was a typical summer day during my childhood! My thoughts and prayers are with her family, especially Tom during this difficult time. May Judy now be at peace and with her sweetheart, Eugene (Mr. Kierstyn to me).
Bill, Sandy and the entire Kierstyn families, I’m sending a hug and my condolences. Hold onto the happy memories.
