Julia C. Weiss “Julie”, age 62, of Bristol, WI, died Monday, January 29, 2024, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital in Pleasant Prairie, WI. She was born in Waukegan, IL, July 8, 1961, the daughter of Harold and Patricia (Anderson) Fallos and grew up in Wildwood, IL. She lived in Salem, WI for 18 years before settling in Bristol, WI in 2010. On March 12, 1983, she married Randall “Randy” S. Weiss in Waukegan, IL. Julie and Randy were married for 34 years before Randy passed away in 2017. Julie found love again with her partner, Frank Eckstein.
Julie worked as a regional manager for Herlitz Office Supply, manager of J & L gas station, church secretary for Lake Point and New Hope Community Churches and before her health began to deteriorate, she was the in-house office manager for Kathy’s House in Wauwatosa. She was a recipient of a kidney and pancreas in 1991 and was very passionate about counseling other transplant patients.
Survivors include: two brothers, Harold “Buddy” Fallos and Richard Fallos; four sisters-in-law, Sherri (Glen) Carlton, Diane (Gary) Hadad, Sandra (Jack) Wagner and Ronna (Bill) Heuer; a godson, Matt Otto; nieces and nephews, dear family members and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Patrick Fallos.
Julie’s life will be celebrated during a memorial at NorthBridge Church, 18724 Route 173, Antioch, IL on Friday, February 23, 2024. A gathering/visitation will be at 3:00 pm and a service at 4:00 pm. Interment will be at Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, WI, at a later date.
