Kenneth C. Stout Jr., age 67, of Friendship, Wisconsin left us on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Visitation will be at Roseberry’s Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Kenneth was born February 16, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Kenneth and Marie (Kornuth) Stout. He married Lily F. Jones on May 16, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. Kenneth worked as a designer draftsman in Chicago for 30 years before making a career change because he hated computers. He retired to Adams County with his wife in 2001 to enjoy the quiet life.
Kenneth enjoyed playing darts, gardening, carpentry, engineering home improvements, and was an avid coffee drinker. He also cherished seeing his grandchildren everyday and having the joy of kissing them goodnight, and telling them "donâtâ let the bedbugs bite" brought him more peaceful sleep. Phone calls from his older grandchildren always tickled him so even though he did not show it.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Marie Stout; son, Kenneth C. Stout III; and his aunt, Elsie Branutz.
