Kenneth Harold Damitz

Kenneth Harold Damitz, age 80, of Adams, Wisconsin died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at his home.

Memorial services will be 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Military honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Friends may call at Roseberry’s on Wednesday from 4:00 until the time of service on Wednesday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born December 27, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry C. and Viola N. (Wuest) Damitz. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Marine Corps. Kenneth married Margaret Ann Lewis on May 5, 1954 in Portsmouth, Virginia. Kenneth worked for Jewel Foods in Illinois for 31 years, retiring in 1991. The couple moved to Adams County in 1994.

Kenneth enjoyed bowling, traveling through out the United States, watching sports, fishing, and the outdoors.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Viola Damitz; brother, Bud; sister, Ruth; and brother, Bill.

Daughter: Debra Senediak of Arkdale, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Diane (Mike) Zatezalo of Villa Park, Illinois
Grandson: Dan (Mari) Senediak of Villa Park, Illinois
Brother: Robert Damitz of Berkeley, Illinois
Sister: Jean Svec of Naperville, Illinois
Sister: Marion (Ed) Jakopchek of Ocala, Florida
