Kent Hindes

Kent Hindes, beloved husband of Sue Hindes of 19 years, passed away on February 28, 2024 peacefully in his sleep after a long courageous battle of cancer with Sue by his side. He leaves behind his wife Susan Hindes (Baraboo), his mother Ruth Hindes (Baraboo), four God children and many nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Kent was known for his love of deer hunting, riding his Harley Davidson, his long hair, fishing, and his passion for old cars, particularly his 1968 Camaro. He took great pride in caring for his yard and decorating for the holidays, showcasing his kind heart and creative spirit.

Kent Hindes passion for riding his Harley Davidson added to his unique qualities by showcasing his free spirit and sense of adventure. It also allowed him to connect with others who shared the same love, further deepening his relationships and creating lasting memories with those who knew him. His enthusiasm for riding also demonstrated his fearlessness and willingness to embrace new experiences, making him even more beloved by his friends and family.

Kent dedicated 31 years of life to Seats, where his coworkers became like family to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Kent’s family appreciated the kindness and support from Seats throughout his battle.

    Kent was a great guy to work with. Never asked for more than he was willing to provide. I worked with him for the entire time he was at Seats and his pragmatic approach to getting the jobs done and his infectious smile made him a very good leader. We will miss him and his family has my deepest sympathies.

    Kent was always such a nice guy to me at Seats. He was one of my Team Leaders at Seats when I first started and greatly helped me learn. I will miss is quiet personality and smiling face.
