
Larry Cole
Larry G. Cole, age 87, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Larry was born March 23, 1938 in Michigan to Arnold “Leroy” and Lenora Cole.
Larry was always a hard worker, working right out junior high school in Michigan and then for AMPI in Portage. He owned and operated Cole’s Motel and the Wooden Nickel Inn.
Larry enjoyed ice fishing, deer hunting, going to the casino, westerns, old time game shows, and country music. He was also an avid Brewers & Packers fan.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife: Martha; son: Jerry, and sister: Lillian “Jo.”
Survivors include his half sister Stella Pearl, children: JoAnne (Scott), John, Linda, and Lauri; James (Ann) and family, granddaughter: Deena (Dale), niece: Rhonda (Mike), nephews: Kenneth & Richard.

So very sorry for your family’s loss
My deepest condolences to the Cole family. I worked with Larry for many years with Capital Newspapers. Larry was an incredible worker, and always a joy to be around. He always had great stories, especially regarding some of his casino adventures, as well his newspaper delivery stories.
God Bless to you all and now Larry is with Martha, pretty sure they’re having a good time!
