Larry Reichhoff

Larry William Reichhoff, age 77, of Aransas Pass, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Pam’s Specialty Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Larry was born on April 7, 1948, in Adams, Wisconsin, to Richard and Berdena Reichhoff. He was raised on a farm in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin, and graduated from Adams-Friendship High School. Throughout his life, Larry worked a variety of jobs across Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Alaska, and Texas. Much of his career was spent in road construction throughout Wisconsin and other states. Over the years he also worked as a shrimp boat deckhand, home construction laborer, lumber yard worker, oil derrick operator, and even as a baker.
On November 16, 1985, Larry married Sandra Rhinehart in Adams, Wisconsin. Together they made their homes in Monroe Center, Wisconsin; Valdez and Juneau, Alaska; and Aransas Pass, Texas.

Larry had a strong competitive spirit and a lifelong love of sports. In his younger years he played baseball, basketball, and volleyball before eventually focusing on softball. He played competitive softball for many years in Wisconsin, Alaska, and Texas. Larry was proud to have played on state championship teams in both Alaska and Texas, representing those states in national championship tournaments three times.

Larry will be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling, and spending time visiting with family and friends. He especially enjoyed playing dominoes, card games, and dice games. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed experiencing new places throughout his life.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Reichhoff and Berdena Mai (West) Reichhoff; his brothers, Kenny Ray Reichhoff and Richard Reichhoff; his sister, Toni Reichhoff; and his loving wife, Sandra Reichhoff.

He is survived by his son, Larry William (April) Reichhoff Jr.; daughters, Jacqueline Jo (Dennis) Gawronski and Kelly Jo Popple; stepsons, David (Julie) Rhinehart and Andy (Catherine) Rhinehart; and stepdaughter, Connie (Ron) Frymark. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia (Wayne) Klicko and Terri (Mark) Gulrud. Larry is further survived by twenty-one grandchildren, Victoria Marie Baker, William Charles Reichhoff, Katherine Mae Reichhoff, Samantha Arias (Jovany), Mason Mears (Kiley), Emily Gawronski, Sarah Gawronski, Ethan Gawronski (Ariel), Allison Gawronski, Caleb Gawronski, Danial James Hogan, Coltan Reese Wagaman, Elizabeth Foland, Ashley Standeven (Andy), Joshua Rhinehart, Savanna Anthony Dawley (Eric), Heather Morgan (Miles), Kiersten Clifford, Taylor Walther, Jeremiah Wera, and Sabrina Wera; sixteen great-grandchildren, Jazmine Kae Baker, Lillianna Josephine Baker, Grayson Colby Baker, Storm Johnson, Ciara Arias, Malachi Mears, Noelle Mears, Finn Gawronski, Kaleb Foland, Jackson Haussen, Josephine Anthony-Dawley, Madison Morgan, Ebony Morgan, Easton Morgan, Kinsley Morgan, and a baby boy expected to be born March 26, who will be named at a later time; and many other relatives and friends.
